Nathan Williams of Wavves covered the Misfits’ “Hybrid Moments” last night, and put it on Twitter as “an ode to the band”. I’m not sure if I like it, but I think it’s worth sharing. It’s a weird, poppy version of a Misfits song. Like, if The Misfits went to the beach and brought along a tape recorder or something. Williams said that he didn’t even tune his guitar when he played it, which sounds appropriate for a Misfits cover. Tell me what you think about this:

Personally, it’s not as good as the original. But that’s just me.

If you haven’t seen this by now, expect it to be everywhere soon. This is Karmin, a pop group from Brookline, MA, covering Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Busta Rhymes. At first, I didn’t want to watch this video. I figured it couldn’t be that good. Watch the video. It is:
