A while back, I shot and edited this music video for Taiyamo Denku. It was my first time shooting a music video on a Sony EX-1, and I really like how clear it came out. It was also the first time I had the opportunity to shoot a music video in a studio, with sets and lighting and a lot of good production value. I really had fun shooting it, and I hope that you enjoy it. Check it out:

It’s finally here. I’ve been waiting the better part of a year to release this, but I finally have everything together. This is my first production mixtape. It’s a collection of songs that I’ve produced, spanning the last few years. Enjoy.

Wow. The last two weeks have been the busiest two weeks of my life. I haven’t put up a new post in a while. My bad. Anyway, Proph released his latest project “Wool Over My Eyes” yesterday. Giving the thing a full listen, I have to say that Proph isn’t playing around on this project. Also, check out track 3, “So Cold”… I produced that. Just sayin

A lot of times, when I hear a new hip hop song, it’s subject to the “test drive”. The test drive is when I play it in my ’96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, with the bass up. If it sounds good in an Oldsmobile, it sounds good in anything. This track passed the test drive without even getting played in the car. Put on a pair of headphones with a nice bass sound, and see for yourself.

Warning: This video contains some risque images. Don’t watch it if you’re too young, or too old.

Chester French teamed up with Karmaloop to release their newest video today. The first single is “Black Girls”, a hard hitting, catchy song that you’ll inevitably end up singing along to. The song is also attracting a little bit of controversy, because of the title and the video. Frontman/Milwaukee native/Harvard graduate D.A. Wallach tweeted that “as someone who is and has been in interracial relationships I knew that it was important. This isn’t just about black girls.” Their new album should be released soon, and I really hope it sounds like this song. It’s a big step forward from singing about Jimmy Choo shoes for Chester French, and I like it. Oh, and Travis Barker plays drums on it. One more reason to like it.

Another gem from my video production class. Never had heard of The Air On Everest until this video project, but I’ve sung this chorus in my head so many times. It’s such a catchy song. Textbook pop punk, and a cool video from Christian Shebesta. Kudos to those guys. You will sing this song a lot. You’ve been warned.

I thought about going to the Milwaukee Admirals game yesterday, but decided against it. Then I got a text from my aunt that the benches had cleared between them and the Rockford Ice Hogs. Even the backup goaltenders got involved. Then, they called both teams to the locker room, because they had to clean up the mess. Thanks to the power of the internet, we can all watch this ridiculousness unfold. Go Admirals.

This is a ridiculous video. Andre goes big on almost everything he tries, and this video definitely shows that. Oh, it also must be awesome to have Chaz Ortiz sweeping the gravel out of the landing for you, right? Anyway, what was I saying? Oh yeah. This video is crazy. And there’s cinnamon. Watch:

This seems like a cool idea. I’m down to celebrate. Anybody else? Let’s have a party.

This is kind of awesome. I just really like time lapse videos. I won’t say too much about it, because it’s only 22 seconds, but it’s a great 22 seconds. Watch the Bradley Center go from a near sell out Marquette vs. Georgetown game to a Milwaukee Admirals vs. Chicago Wolves game / Styx concert. Side note: That’s the only time Styx will ever be mentioned on this blog.
