So, it’s been a couple weeks, but I finally put together the video that I shot from the Mifflin Street Block Party this year. The video was really just to test out my new editing software, but I uploaded it to Youtube. Why not, right? Especially since there is a movement to shut the annual party down before next year’s event, due to some unfortunate violence by a select few of the thousands that attended this year. With that said, I urge everyone to go support the Save Mifflin cause on Facebook. Take a look at the party you’ll be saving. The video contains music from ¡Oye! and Klassik, The Cranberry Show, F. Stokes, and SAFS Crew representatives Dukalion, RTystic, and Seismic.

You’ve got to be kidding me. Not even a day after it is confirmed that Osama Bin Laden has been killed, and people already booked a party with strippers and a celebrity guest? This is a joke… right? Somebody provide me with some feedback if this is an actual event or not. Also, “gentlemen” is spelled wrong.

The second annual Raynor Rave went down at Marquette tonight. Having experienced both of the raves, I kind of have to say that this year was a close second in terms of awesomeness compared to last year. Maybe it was because we, as well as the staff at Raynor Library, knew what to expect. Either way, I had a great time, and clearly everyone else did. I also heard that there was a lot of broken glass in the basement of Raynor after this from all the jumping… so, hopefully this tradition carries on next year. Here’s the best of the early videos that I’ve seen so far, but I’m sure an edited one will come out by tomorrow.

We Are Marquette.
